And by the way, Mr. Phelps is actually bigger than Bernard weighting 90 kilos against Bernards 84 and i dont see anyone diminishing Phelps accomplishment to just brute strenght. If having big ripped muscles like Bernard was an advantage there would be a lot more swimmers like him, swimmers arent stupid they use every advantage they can

since when being bigger is an advantage?im so sick of hearing ignorant comments like that, Bernard's owns his succes to his marvelous technique not to his body wich is by the way more a disadvantage than an edge, big muscles mean a decrease of flexibility and rage of motion wich are way more decisive factors than strenght, thats why Sullivan is faster than Bernard he is much more flexible.

wow what an argument, but from a swimmer's perspective sprinting is no more masculine than any other type of event, The 50, in my opinion is the easiest event, not that it doesn't take training, but the training it takes to become a world-class long-distance swimmer is so much more grueling than that for a 21 second race. Just my opinion. Plus, Bernard had better be able to get the record seeing as he is so much bigger than anyone else!!!
