Asian ripoffs? wtf, all sword styles, be it Asian or European are designed to exploit the weakness in the human body and armor you might be wearing thus certain moves share similarities mainly because the human body is the same no matter what culture you go into

A very nice technique... And damn impressive it is, too.
I want to learn how to do that, now... And give my sparring partner a nasty surprise. XD

@Dojango999 Lol dude..in battle there is so much big chaos that you can be happy to be able to swing the weapon...:D:D

@KuLaydMahn Thing about most of these is that if I'm not mistaken, they were supposed to be performed in armor. Punching someone in the face would still do something, obviously, but it's probably more worth it just to throw the guy.

There's no such thing as an unbeatable technique. Every technique I've encountered (except Wing Chun's chain punches) is designed to take advantage of a given opportunity - which means adapting to changes almost instantly. Of course no decent opponent will be so passive, and if he moves in a manner that takes away this opportunity then one must suddenly adapt and (as wvdmc said) use a different technique.
After all, this is only one technique of many.

Also, when you go to grab his handle you could sooo~ deliver a sweet punch to the face on your way }: ) I thought I saw one or two easily exploited flaws, but the more I replay the video the more those go away. I see how this would be hard to do so well irl, but it's a solid technique in the situation for which it was designed (<-naysayers). I love it. And your execution is very fluid, good body mechanics.
And sorry to spam, but I have one more thought for the naysayers

I like it, it reminds of judo...which gives me a question/suggestion. Have you considered stepping deeper in to your opponent's stance, "occupying his space?" Also, have you tried lifting his hips with your hips as you turn? Those are two important aspects of disrupting/manipulating someone's balance that I learned in judo. It looks like they would have solid application here, though it may require a tweak or two.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. This isn't a "one step" technique. If blue is strong in the bind here in the kron, then this is a technique that can be done. Different reactions by blue will result in different techniques by red. If blue is soft in the bind or starts to chamber a different attack, red will react accordingly. If the swords meet at a different place or at different angles, red will use different techniques.

Very nice technique but that's dirty play! Where's the gentlemanliness? :p
why does the guy in blue step forward when the blades meet? He stands out of balance then, is he forced to or what?

When Blue first steps forward with his right foot, his footwork is proper and he is in balance. Generally, you want to step with your strike to generate force (a strike from R-L, as here, should start with the left foot forward and end with the right foot forward). Blue stumbles after his initial step because I have grabbed the grip of his longsword and my turning movement is pulling him off balance.

I should also mention that, if he holds onto his weapon, his right arm and shoulder are torqued the same way as in a BJJ "Americana" or "Paintbrush," only standing up. The options are to have your shoulder dislocated or go flying.

He flew that far because he held onto his weapon, so when I swung my back leg around, the inertia of my entire body off-balanced him. If he had let go, I would have simply disarmed him. For whatever reason, the natural tendency is to hold onto your weapon during actual sparring, so techniques like this are very effective.
