In 1970-71 I knew a lady living at Valley Falls (a wide spot in the road) at junction of Highways 395 and 31 in Lake County (Lakeview), Oregon. This is 22 miles south of Paisley, Oregon. Her and her husband (a retired barber) were rock hound, desert rats, but down to earth honest folk. Her deer rifle: a .32-20 Winchester. Formerly living in Eugene, Oregon (Blacktail deer) they had relocated to Eastern Oregon's high desert sagebrush country (Mule deer). Many deer were killed with .32-20's.

I know that racoons dislike the 32-20.

@blueeyesseto That's pretty new...
-
@GunsOfThePhoenix wouldnt say a post WW2 cartridge is "new"
-
@blueeyesseto Because the .222/.223 is pretty new compared to the cartridges they are talking about.
-

And Robert Johnson made the load famous with his ".32-20 Blues."
"if she get's unruly, and she don't want to"
"if she get's unruly, and she don't want to"
"Take my .32-20, cut her half in two."
