Toucans and parrots do not make good pets for most people. Viewers, don't make decisions on impulse. They are inherently wild and have special needs. The majority of parrots and other exotic birds end up homeless and unwanted because they are a serious commitment, require a huge amount of care and time, and knowledgeable handling. Most people mishandle birds and they end up emotionally traumatized. If you want a bird, please adopt, don't buy. There are thousands of birds needing homes.

I'm pretty sure that just about all of them do enjoy tug of war. Sometimes mine gets so into it that I can lift the rope into the air with him hanging from it!

...he is soooo cute! Currently, I have a Congo African Grey. I wonder if they would be compatable? How much do emerald toucanets cost?

yep as CitizenMarvel said our little guy does play rough. In general toucans are notorious for being aggressive towards other birds and pestering them. I imagine a parrot would have to be a saint to put up with it. They are truly wonderful pets though, hand fed ones are very affectionate (Hal loves to be pet and cuddled) and playful towards humans.
