and bear grylls does not have to carry a machete with him Why would you carry a machhete with you if you dont know if you will get lost
you should always carry a knife if your going anywere if know you might get lost

@abskwl how about you shut up about bear grylls because he might have been sleeping there because he got hurt during trying to make a show or he could have been on a vacation or he could have just been there NOT doing a show. also some kid got lost in the wild ,some day i dont know when ,but he surrived because he watched bear grylls and he did what he needed to that bear grylls said in the show and he got rescued.

@abskwl No he wouldnt die.. it wouldnt be as easy for grylls to live in the wild but he could do it if he had to he knows what to do and when so what if he takes a brake FROM A SHOW all you haters are the same *wrestling is fake* Why dont all you haters fuck off a enjoy the shows tips and tricks....?

@Noelcrackcocaine If Grylls is 'God' and Mears is a phoney, then how come GRYLLS was the one caught sleeping in hotels, not Mears? It's on the Sunday Times website, 24th and 22nd of July 2007, and loads of other websites.
Ray is tubby because he can LIVE (not just survive) in the wild and cook 3 course meals. He plods as he doesn't have to worry about time limits, he could live there if he wanted to. Grylls would be dead if he had to survive anywhere for two weeks and no hotel...

Mears is cool and educational, but I like Les Stroud more because what he does is more practical. He's not super muscular or ex-military or anything; HE'S A MUSICIAN! Aside from his simple knowledge, you can do anything he can.
