Californication Season 2 Hank and Lew

The song is by the late great Warren Zevon. They use a lot of his songs throughout the show and the writers even tend to use many of his song lyrics in the dialogue.

I don't think the song was gay - It's a great song with beautiful lyrics. Hank and Lew were "kindred souls". They actually seemed to like each other sometimes difficult for men who are such "players" and in competition with one another. I think Lew was probably more like Hank than Hank in season 2. I fell in love/lust with the Lew Ashby "bad boy with a broken heart character" and was really disappointed that he had to die... Besides CKR is not bad to look at!!!

that song made the video kind of gay... a very rock n' roll song would've been more apropiate

Lew wasn't supposed to die.. I cried so hard when he died. Still can't believe he's only a serial character.. He's like a real man.

I like the bit where Hank is playing the drums and Lew does that fun dance. It because he like Hank as a buddy. Not because, musically, he's any good. This is what we do for people we care about.

The writters messed up taking out Lew. Especially after Karen leaves.

It was so sad when Lew Died, but they had him go out a very good way, Awesome Job on the video.

great video!! u managed to get all the great scenes between them! still can't believe that lew's dead. will miss him a lot.
