I put this together for a girlfriend who lost her dear friend Jack, aged 24. Jack, Alfy and Tiger shared the field and became good buddies. I wish I had taken better photos of him. I didn't know how short our time was to be. Most of the photos of him were taken when we had a campout in the pasture-- Alfy went after the picnic basket and broke the wine glasses.Tiger knocked down my tent twice- the second time while I was in it. Jack was a perfect gentleman. Copyright info: All photos are by me with the exception of some of the foal shots taken by my sister ( with me in there as midwife).
The music is by John Keawe from the album Heartfelt.
The original video was "unacceptable" here because of my first choice of music "Cowgirl's Dream"--- so I put it up at http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2990010/a_tribute_to_jack/

This version is shorter, less photos, etc.

  • Very well done!

  • @Reallybigmonkey1

Sweet of you to comment. I think your vids are terrific.

  • We can meet on a heart space with animals too!

Horses wait for their masters on this side of rainbow bridge just like our pets then we can all cross over together on that fine day!

  • @dhmetaman I like that thought!

  • A lovely, heartfelt video.

Your girl friend was unlucky to lose Jack but she will know she is fortunate to have you as a friend

  • Thank you.

  • I love to see people using their horses and not letting them waste their life standing in a paddock all day, neglected. Quiet horses like that are a result of a lot of hard work. Lovely videos.

  • Horses and dogs and friends ARE my gold. Thanks for commenting.

  • What would life be without good horses and loving dogs?

    Beautiful, Thanks!
