Virtually every American child grows up reading comic books. Some never outgrow it. Even Hollywood is deeply into comic heroes. So it shouldn't surprise us to find some extremely good illustrators behind our popular art. Here are some of our top illustrators and artists celebrating the famous Amazon heroine, Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman is IMO quite an insipid heroine. No great powers, unmotivately american, despite her amazon, divine origins.

So far, at least. I read some good ideas on the movie (if they ever will make it !) to render her more ethnic and sort of a savage fighter.

Yet undoubtedly, Adam Hughes great drawings made her very meaningful ! I'm so sorry we've lost him... :(((

Adam is still alive and kicking (and drawing beautifully). It's Michael Turner we lost, and he was terrific! In fact the two of them are (and were) probably the best of all at reproducing the female body and face.

Based on the photos shown from 2:43 to 2:46 and 4:07 to 4:10, a video could had been done in which Adolf Hitler captures Wonder Woman. Hitler knows that Wonder Woman is powerless when she's chained by a man and chains her inside a maze where he intends to finish her off with a guided missile. With the missile aproaching, the .look on Wonder Woman's face is priceless and says it all:"Hera help me, I cannot break these chains! And that missile is bearing down on me!"

Its too bad that Marvel take the villain route with there version of the Amazons and even made there Hippolyta's daughter into Artume(she to was made from stone) such a bad guy,

I never liked that Marvel even have the Amazons in such a negivte light just so that the jerk Hercules can look good when defending them as well as the rest of the Marvelverse heroes,hopefully if she and Hippolyta ever returned to life they can revamp them into heroes

because Artume was a weak version of Wonder Woman

I never really liked the stars on her shorts/bikini-bottom/panties. I don't think she's an American character. Just doesn't fit her being an Amazonian. That's just me. Still my favorite DC heroine... not the drug.
