This is the solo album version of Nicholas Jonas' very first single, Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer). There are actually 4 different versions of this song. This was the third or fourth version released, although only the first and last versions were released to the public. (I think...)

There is a slight difference. This one, he sings more of the chorus after the first verse. Instead of stopping at "Peace for every boy and girl" he goes all the way to "Light when everything seems dark." And the pause at the end of this one is longer than the first one. And i personally think the choir of adults + Kevin & Joe sounds different. Other than that, they are exactly the same. If you are thinking about getting both versions, it's really not worth it, because they sound mostly the same.
