During filming, if a powerpoint slide is just a reiteration of what the speaker is saying, without any new information, I do not cut to it. If you are screaming, "What the fuck is on the projector!"... This is the answer.

All Skepticon videos will be monetized this year with ads. 100% of the proceeds with be used to purchase micro-loans through Kiva.org.

I know the ads are annoying, but there is no reason to not use the money for a good cause.

  • I'm not an atheist, and I'm not sure how I found this video, but I'm so glad I did. This man is so amazing. I've had an eating disorder for over half my life and I cried throughout watching this.

  • @CliveGains80s Did you not read my English properly? "Yes it real" is PROOF? I'm sorry, I don't see the link to your documented medical evidence from a reputable website in your comment. You say 10,000 elderly die each year. DUH. Cause they are elderly. Or have other medical problems. But you have yet to prove that anti-psychotics are toxic waste. Or, for that matter, your entire comment. "Yes it real" doesn't work for us skeptics. Once again, Proof up or shut up.

  • @Cacille yes it real. having services is Great! the various medication has proven and there science to it in crisis situations. But Mental heath has a sinister side and that is big pharmacy changing buying laws to force drugs. Do you know the ELDERLY are given or forced ANTI-PSYCHOTIC for demantia or alzamia's for there 'behavior'. 10,000 die a year. Why would you give this toxic waste to a frail person becasue the drugs are from industrial waste!

  • @CliveGains80s It is obvious by your writing that you are not a doctor nor are any way qualified to spread this info. You are in the Skeptics realm here, boy. Provide documented research and medical proof as to your claim, or shut up. We don't believe you until you give us verified peer-reviewed proof and no one else reading your post should either. Proof us and we'll look into it. Provide misinformation and we will stomp you.

  • Greatest speech I've ever seen in person. I was just gripped. JT is the man.

  • Mental illness is madeup to sell drugs.Yes you can have problems and there real.

keep him away from you kids or grandma. big pharma preys on helpless guys like him to advocate it.

Here another mental illness scam. The elderly with dementia are on the list now for there behavior problems. There given Anti psychotic and there's are 1000 death a year.

these new disorders called "none psychotic disorders" are allways growing and there only treated with anti psychotics or depressants. illegal

  • Just incase jt is reading the comments, i want to say thank you. truly and deeply thank you, i also have a mental illness, and this talk helped me more than anything else. so again, THANK YOU.
