It's not that he's going to fall, of COURSE he's not. If people could fall off the rides, the rides wouldn't be allowed to run. It's the fact that he slipped down a bit too far and it was hurting him. Maybe he's a 'drama queen' and his mom is used to him complaining/whining or whatever, but still.
