THAI PROTESTERS Continue into a 3rd Day 13.04.2009

The protesters are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's Government, which they say took power illegitimately four months ago & are vowing to stay on the street's until this is achieved.

There are reports of soldiers firing into the air and at least one fatality as well as almost 100 injuries.

A state of emergency was ordered on Sunday and soldiers and armoured vehicles sent on to the streets after ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra called for a revolution.

Mr Vejjajiva appeared on television late on Sunday, flanked by military commanders, to say an army coup was not going to happen.

Thailand has seen 18 coups since 1932, and the military often has the final say in Thai politics.

If you believe Thaksin, you are damn f..king stupid. Open your eyes widely & listen to the truth which is not from REDS. However, I guess you r not Thai, if saying like this, you could be only Thaksin's slape devoring his money. (actually, it's not his, it's corrupted from us, Thai people. 70% where did you get this figure? didn't know he has that much support! wasn't he corrupted? why is there so much violence in this protest from both parties (compared to the previous protest)? have you seen thaksin response on CNN or BBC regarding this protest? I've been following this from a foreign perspective but it does seem he has alot of conflict of interest regarding his stance but that's my view. what's your take?

Those people who said Ahbisit is a good PM are stupid fuck. Although Ahbisit is a polite and good hearted man, he isn't capable of being a leader. What has he done as PM? NOTHING LOL.

Ok, Thaksin may be corrupt, but hey, which Thai gov in history isn't corrupt? Do you all know that corruption is in the Thai system?

My point is, if both gov are corrupt but at least Thaksin gov can move Thailand forward, then let Thaksin should lead it. Not some kinded hearted looking man incapable of nothing.
