  • Yes they do work on 10m out of the box. They are an awesome radio. I sold mine so I could buy the FT-950 but wish I still had it. They transmit on 70cm 2m 6m 10m 12m 15m 17m 20m 30m 40m 60m 80m 160m. 100w all modes.

  • Hey on the Yaesu FT-857, do you have to mod them to work on 10 meters? Or do they work on 10 meters from factory. I was thinking they worked from 6 meters on to over 70 centimeters factory...??

  • 28.490MHz is very popular here in VK (Australia) for DX contacts.

  • To many people listening to ten meters and not enough people talking on it. If everyone called CQ every now and then on ten you would be surprised what could be heard.

  • Have not had the chance to witness that

'yaesu operate. Sounds good. Keep up the chase. Hamming on 10 bound to improve with the cycle. that 817 og kg9e sounds pretty good too for beingh qrp

  • when was this contact made ? I am wondering how the band is doing at that end. I have been holding off on putting a 10 meter rig in my truck, but maybe its time. nice videos, keep them coming.

  • cool...
