For Alkaline & Ion water, this machine is to much expensive.
1.- You need a one "Scalar Energy Pendant " USD 15.00 from Quantum Science.
2.- a glass of water USD 0.25
3.- one pencil's graphite USD 0.30
4.- and Radio Shack digital multimeter USD 30.00 ( set mV option ) for ORP measure. This measure is for a Qty you need of Ions.
5.- reach with this method = -240 ( anions ) ORP

The problem with this test methodology (and most ionizers) is that it is biased by the tester. The real question should be is how stable is the alkalinity and ionization of the water. Will it still be alkaline and ionized when you choose to consume it? The only stable alkaline and ionized water comes from the stable ionized mineralization in the water. this comes from ionic minerals in the water that create an alkaline pH.

This is bullshit!!!! I have a SD501 and this shit scared me. When I tested my water all of the levels were way highier then what this jerk said!!! F$^#%# Lier!!!! My Orp was like 800 they're just trying to sell that piece of SHIT!!!! I'm sticking with what I have! F^$&#&# crooks!

If you didn't notice, it took about twice as long to fill the container with water from the Life Ionizer machine 11 seconds vs. 5 seconds for the Jupiter Ahena and Orion. The Enagic took only 3 seconds to fill the cup and the Tyent 7 seconds.
In order to obtain the highest levels of pH and ORP from these machines, you would have to reduce the flow rate of the source water to the ionizers. Obviously this is another SCAM.
