  • Is it from 0-100 mph in like 12,5 seconds acceleration of these or diferent?

  • @miroslav1o1

from 0 to 160km/h the racetruck only need 7 or 8 seconds. the SuperRaceTrucks (they are no more used) only need 5 seconds from 0 to 160km/h

  • there are water cooled brakes installed in all racetrucks. in a 12lap race 200 liters are consumed.

Thanks for the info...I never knew water cooled brakes even existed. For a sec i thought the exhaust was running out the inside of the wheel. Oh well you learn something new everyday i guess.

  • @motorsportvideo i knew it's quicker than 12,5 but did not know exactly how much,my god those are super quick ones, thank you for your info motorsportvideo, quick ones indeed,it's very cool..

In order to keep the front brakes cool, they squirt water unto the bakres, which then turns into steam, and that's what you see.

As for the bumping, that happens in all motorsports really. It just looks a bit more casual here because those things weigh around 5 tons, that's a lot of inertia right there.

  • I love the way these big things just casually bump each other around.

Whats that smoke i always see coming from the front tires?

  • An excellent video and a good race, thanks for sharing it with us, and please make more. :)

Though the sound, as in all truck racing videos, could use some improvement. Have you tried using two external microphones (one for high pitched noises and one for deeper sounds) and then run the mixed sound to the recorder ?

That way you can better add the correct noise dampening material for each microphone and get better overall sound. Maybe place one behind the cabin, to catch the engine sounds.
