A new store arrival--fretless to the 5th "fret," then fretted up to the scoop. See it at zeppmusic dot com/enoch.htm

  • is this a cherry tradesman?

what do you find to be the difference between the walnut and cherry ?

  • @fralin1966 Sorry for the delay in response, I don't check here very often, I fear. I don't remember what woods were used in this particular banjo and didn't keep any other records of it, so I'm guessing here that it's cherry by the lightness of the headstock. Differences? None I can hear. I like the grain of walnut better, but that's about it.

Hmmm... I guess I should record the SKU somewhere in my comments--that way I can always check for information!

  • Your Cumberland Gap sounds awesome, but I would have thought this banjo to be a perfect candidate to demo "Half Shaved".

  • @Bisbonian Excellent point, but that would require my learning it, first! :-)
