  • Thank you so much for posting this film. It has special meaning for me, as I was the proud owner from 1961-1966 of Arnolt Bristol #38 which can be seen at 8:07. This was a tragic race for Stanley H. Arnolt, the designer and owner of Arnolt Bristol cars; The driver of car #37 was killed in an accident, after which he withdrew the rest of the team (cars #38 & #39) from the race.

  • Amazing! Thank you for posting, I could watch 50s and 60s sports cars all day long i cant say the same of modern sports classes.

  • Outstanding video from the early years of the 12 Hours of Sebring! At the 2:55 mark, is car #12 which is a Ferrari 315 S driven by DePortago - Musso. At about the 6:30 mark, there is a photographer right out on the track skirt at Turn One, which is the fastest turn on the track, with absolutely no barrier between the photographer and the cars screaming down pit straight and into Turn One. Can't do that now! At 7:46, watch the car disappear. Fabulous Video!!

  • Wonderful video. It sure is a lot different there now, with guardrails and fences. There's a marshall actually standing on the track going into turn 1!

  • Absolutely Classic footage!!
