Liquid Assets New England Swimming (LANES), Boston's swim team for New England's LGBTQ community and their friends, agrees that "It gets better". On behalf of our entire team, we want to take a moment to stress that while we all face challenges, especially while growing up, it does indeed get better. If you are struggling with feeling alone, hopeless, angry or confused, please remain strong and find those in your lives who love you for being you. This message also goes two ways. To friends, family, teachers, coaches, classmates and teammates of the LGBTQ community, you play huge roles in our day-to-day lives and can be the needed support for many of us. To all, let's focus on what is truly important - things improving over time and only continuing to get better and better for us all.
