Using Horslips' music to promote Republican activity is just wrong. The band always played to Catholic and Protestant communities without prejudice and were accepted everywhere. They were a powerful force for peace and reconciliation, not war.

Both sides did terrible things in the troubles, as did the British Army. But it's history. Let's have no more blood shed over it. Eire and Britain are now friends and trading partners.

The fight must NOT go on - all it will do is to damage everyone.

It did. His mother and sister died in the Terror, not in Dresden, but in Hamburg. But you seem incapable of understanding that two wrongs do not make a right. Whatever terrible things Catholics and Protestants did to each other in the past, retribution cannot be justified. Nor can the Nazi treatment of the Jews, whatever tou allege they did. If my father (ex SS) can see that, anyone should.

My father saw things at Sachsenhausen that repulsed him. He fought against the Russians, was badly wounded and sent as an SS guard to the camp. He was unwilling to murder, so he asked to be returned to combat. He was captured near Nijmegen when his unit ran out of ammunition. He came to England as a POW, was well treated, settled and married my mother.

He knew about what went on in the camps. He was there. You weren't. So stop talking about things you know fuck all about.

In US POW Camps, only 2 in 10 Germans lived

In German POW camps, 8 of 10 US soldiers lived

In Russia POW Camps, 1 in 10 Germans lived

Germans treated Jew Concentration Camp workers to Brothels, Synagogues, Library, Post Office, Marriages, Births, Soccer, Pool, Orchestras, Movie and Plays.

You dont think 6 million died in a 2 car Garage sized vented room by use of bug spray do you? Why does Israel run a Modern day Concentration Camp in Gaza today?

Well lots of Jews, Russian POWs and political prisoners died at Sachsenhausen, although it was not classed as a death camp; my father knows as he was there for a while and saw it happen!

By the way, have you ever heard of Horslips as none of your deranged comments even mention them?
