At the northern tip of San Francisco, in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio has been transformed from a former military post into a gorgeous national park. The park has spectacular views, wonderful wooded walkways and an amazing military history that goes back for over 200 years.

The military post did not become a national park until 1994. Until that time, the average citizen was simply not allowed to roam freely about as they may now do. The non-profit Presidio Trust was formed to help the park meet its special mandate to be self sustaining. New tenants including the illustrious GEORGE LUCAS are helping it meet that goal by leasing space to live and work in the historic buildings.

It has become a well known center for the entertainment industry in the Bay Area, including, perhaps the biggest name in visual effects.

SUPER TIGER TV takes you there for a special "Hard to Believe: But True!" episode.

  • Great vid. Really informative - I didn't know most of this stuff - and fun. Love the visuals and the music. And the dog. And the fox.
