  • Writer21, you must be an expat trying to justify why you left SA.

You must feel stupid that you left because we are prospering and enjoying our lives in our beloved SA.

  • You are indeed an idiot writer 201,you are in denial about the fact that SA is an amazing country, and wherever you go,there aint no perfect country, coz this aint a perfect world,so to hell with your stupid comments. Big up to mzansi

  • i really like the tone of this ad, this is not a perfect country but there's so much hope. it talks POTENTIAL and oh boy we have so much of it. only if REAL south africans by heart can apply themselves and work hard to make this place the best.

Not pointing fingers "these blacks" and "these whites" MUST end.

  • All you haters of Write201, you've probably never lived there, so you don't have any experience, you just read articles and watch the news and whatever, to understand you have to live it. Now moving on...SA is a beautiful place, i lived there for 5 years and i loved it but now...its terrible. Writer201 is right, SA will soon become Zim.

  • As an American who is tired of the overconsumption, pollution and materialism of my country, I admire foreigners who make the most of what they have in their countries. I personally admire South Africa for its potential and its truly multiracial and multicultural country. America could learn so much.

  • I am an african, although i am from european desent, the colour of my skin and where my mother and father were born does not make me any less african! i am proud of what my country has achieved and am proud to be apart of this inspirational nation! we must never forget the past, but we should not dwell on it! The past is history, the future is a mystery, but today is a gift, thats why it is called the present! I look forward to 2010, and so should all africans! This is our time to shine!!!

  • epic

  • lack of electricity ? Oh you mean "cheapest electricity in the world ?" right ? Because to say there is no electicity in south africa would be pretty stupid.

unemployment ? Sure...but less of it every day...we're booming economically.

  • My god.... What a beautiful video...

    I´m emotional. Oh god...

Someday Africa won´t be "the forgotten continent" anymore. And we´ll live in a better world.

  • Great advert, just devoid of reality in my view. Nobody needs to justify why they left SA looking at the unemployment, lack of electricity and political bickering. You do however have to wonder where it will end.
