  • i was just wondering what the major benefits that you would see through doing this polish job would be? i'm getting my first marker next week in the mail and it happens to be this A5... what can i expect with this polish job? :)

  • t will reduce wear on the moving internal parts, but more importantly, it will increase shot to shot consistency. This will result in less fluctuations in you FPS, which will yield a tighter & more consistent shot grouping.

  • would you recomend this for an A-5

  • Polishing the internals? Oh yes. It is the very first mod that I recommend for any Tippmann!

  • hey is the brillo pad method or this beater

  • I have found the you will get better results with the sandpaper method.

  • When i try to polish the internals of my gun, i always do something wrong when i re-assemble. It is not worth it in my mind.

  • oo yeah you get that gun wet !! lol j\p

  • hey guys, ive heard that the major plus when polishing your internals, is that it will increase the life span of your o rings, but cant u get a complete set of all the a5 o rings for about 5 dollars online?!?! so whats the big deal ? thanks

  • I just used wet 600 grit in circles, then i used a plolishing paste. It took almost 2 hours to do, but i could see my reflection when i finished. There are 0 scratch marks. All it takes is a little time and patience

  • hey, i polished my x7 internals. it has some rough parts, but it looks ok, is there such thing as over polishing where you remove too much over spray so the rear bolt dosent seal so air gets buy it? what would happen if that happend?

    thanks

  • i like the brillo pad method alot better! its one step. is it as effective as the sandpapper though???

  • Great video. Try soaking your paper with a drop of dish soap and the whole sanding operation goes a lot smother.

  • Love your vids bro! Got my new A-5 in the mail! Keep em coming!

  • i guess i should have come back here to change my comment, i watched the other part of the video, read your walkthrough on the A5 OG forums and checked your site... sorta learnt that from your other info posted... but i must say, you responded really fast and politly for someone who gets this exact same question so often... :) thank you very much.
