Two muffs are better than one for a Swollen Pickle as many say, so I got me another muff, an Electro Harmonix Big Muff with tone/wicker, to compare with the Electro Harmonix Little Big Muff and Way Huge Swollen Pickle fuzz pedal. I must warn you all. The newly acquired muff is loud and a screamer, specially when you play with her two pointy switches. A 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard, Marshall Class 5 tube amp, and a Sennheiser e609 microphone was used for this video.

  • Nice legs.

  • @Socioistic

Thanks! They are usually much hairier than what they appear to be on the video. :)

  • Dude, put those legs away (I hope it's your legs or I'll be having nightmares for months to come). It looks like a hairy arse/ballsack and is very off putting! ;-)

And as much as I love Big Muffs, it's a bit unfair trying to compete with the Swollen Pickle considering the Way Huge is twice the price.

  • @systemsmith

    LOL!!!!!

  • Hey where did you get the swollen pickle? Thanks :)

  • Who else uses those cheap live wire cables!?

  • The wicker switch is redundant, but otherwise this is a great demo. This made me want the swollen pickle(...)

  • Between my Big Muff Pi (heheh, muff pie) and my swollen pickle I'm not sure which is better, I had the muff longer so I guess I'm used to it, but the pickle is hard to find the right tone for cuz if you turn one knob the wrong way it comes out sounding like bees in a blender. But once the tone is in the right spot, the pickle far surpasses any fuzz box I've had or tried.

  • dunno. I kinda liked the Big Muff Pi better (might as well ignore the Little Big Muff Pi in this one. The sound is so scooped in that one that it's far outclassed). Maybe it's just that the tone started sounding choppy on the Swollen Pickle when you were adjusting the Scoop control.

  • @Socioistic Legs? I thought it was the underside of his ball sac.

  • how do you have the internal pots and the scoop and crunch set in the beginning? this is the only demo i've heard the pickle sound that good!

  • i can hear why the Pickle costs more, it sounds so much better than either Muff...

  • dude adjust ur levels
