Hey guys, thanks for tuning into ClevverMovies, your number one source for movie news. I'm Tatiana Carrier, and I've got some interesting news on The Expendables 2!
.
Well, as we all know, Sylvester Stallone's throwback to old school action films was full of explosions and the biggest and baddest action stars. Sly himself, Jason Statham, Jet Li, and Steve Austin led the cast, and there were even cameos by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Can't get much better than that, can you? Still, there was one major action star missing, and he's set to appear in The Expendables 2...but with some major demands.
.
That's right, as you may have guessed, Chuck Norris will be making an appearance in the film, but he told the Polish paper Gazeta that he will only appear in the film if it is rated PG-13. "There was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay...Due to that I said I won't be a part of that if the hardcore language is not erased. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be classified in the category of PG-13."
.
Well, it looks like Sly and his producers have bowed to the man that makes the central nervous system nervous. You can check out The Expendables 2, rated PG-13 (sad face), on August 17.
.
You guys can check out an interview with Norris and the teaser trailer on our blog! So click the link in our description! .
So, what do you guys think? Is Chuck Norris' return to the big screen worth the dialogue cuts? Or will that make the film less bad-ass? Let us know by commenting below, and as always, keep checking back for more movie news here on ClevverMovies. I'm Tatiana Carrier, thanks again for tuning in.

  • I like chuck Norris and like that he loves jesus as i do too but i really think it should be r i mean this is a man movie kick ass blood and killing bad guys

  • @darraghkane Its a known fact Chuck Norris caused this.

  • Chuck Norris is only doing this because he's fucking Chuck Norris and he does whatever the hell he wants. This just proves how powerful he is

  • @darraghkane The only reason this movie is PG 13 is because of Chuck Norris. They were going to make it rated R like the other Expendables and Chuck said that he doesn't do movies like that and he wanted it to be PG 13. That is the only reason this movie is rated R.

  • I doubt it has anything to do with Chuck Norris. Mainstream movies very seldom have violence or sex in them. I doubt it even has anything to do with annoying right wing Christian groups. The simple fact is kids have money now a days. Even in this so called recession. So going to the cinema is no longer a treat. Producers have gone out of their way to make all movies accessible to all audience members! It's annoying in my opinion but it has nothing to do with chuck Norris. In the 70s & 80s when

  • yea man i had alot of respect 4 chuck hes already killes thousans why not a couple more shiiiiiiit this pg shit might have destroyed the movie u know van dam was sown with the R

  • Chuck Norris is a disciple of Jesus and it's his desire to not be in film with vulgar language. He is a man that honors and loves God.

  • Thats queer a pg 13 rating would ruin all the blood and gore we love to see
