http://www.LCsciences.com LC Sciences offers specialty microarray services for nucleic acid/protein profiling and functional analysis, biomarker-discovery, novel drug screening, and the custom development of miniaturized assay devices for diagnostics and biosensing applications.

Our innovative products and comprehensive services are based on technology that offers unprecedented flexibility and customization capability.

The flexibility of this platform enables us to do something that has never been done before: offer a complete line of custom specialty microarrays and biochips (DNA, RNA, peptides, and their analogs) that are suitable for synthesis, screening, and detection/sensing applications giving researchers the most comprehensive picture of cellular activities ever available, from microRNA to transcription factors, to kinase activity. All information can be obtained with the same set of research tools.

Our scientists and engineers have developed a platform for microarray biochips and biosensors based on the innovative combination of several technologies including: a new class of microfluidic µParaFlo® reaction devices, an advanced digital light synthesizer apparatus, and picoliter scale chemical and biochemical processes.

The seamless integration of these multidisciplinary technologies gives us a competitive edge in parallelization, miniaturization, customization, and automation.

This µParaFlo® technology enables the massively parallel synthesis of high quality DNA and RNA oligonucleotides as well as peptides and peptidomimetics in picoliter-scale reaction chambers (µParaFlo® chips).

Custom sequences can be synthesized by simply reprogramming the computer to synthesize new light patterns according to the sequence requirements and using standard synthesis chemicals.

The functionalized microchips are particularly suited for applications where small sample consumption, contamination-free, high density of probes, high sensitivity, and performance-reproducibility are primary concerns.
