@LittleF0lk I had the 2004 VL800 and they suffered under broken bushings in steering head, strange noises from valve-train and few had problems with corrosion. Other than that, strange handlebar angle, uncomfy seat and exceptional week brakes, this bike is great. I sold it to step up to FLHTCU and never looked back. It has much smoother and stronger engine, less vibration at revs, better overall comfort, better cornering and brakes, cheaper maintenance. C50 is great value large cruiser.

Liked your video, bike is really good looking...would have loved to have heard sound of your bike though :)

@LittleF0lk I must agree with you. I have had no issues other than like a dummy I accidently dropped it in the garage and broke the rear turn signal...oh well...it was bound to happen.

I have a 2007 Suzuki C50 Boulevard. Still no problems after 2 1/2 years. It's the best bike for the money in my opinion.
..how's it ride at 65.. what's the vibration like on the handle grips; I'll have to test ride one myself but seriously considering this model as my next road bike.. sorry HD, the honeymoon is over I guess.. LoL

@ANICON2006 I've taken it cruising at 90 and I've never noticed any vibrations. Went on a 1000 mile round trip to Big Bend and didn't feel any vibration. I have test driven HD road king and thought it was a great bike except at lower speeds the handle bars vibrated almost violently, but at higher speeds it seemed to smooth out.

@ANICON2006 I bought this same bike and year. There is no noticeable vibration at all. It's very smooth and I'm happy with it overall. It could use a 6th gear though, I notice it struggles a bit to get up to higher speeds but rides really well on the freeway. I agree with a lot of the posts on here, this bike is the best bang for your buck in it's class.

@lang2190 I agree about the 6 the gear. Cruise control would also be nice on those long drives.

I got the purple/red one a few weeks ago. My first bike and I must say I made a good choice. Something about the Suzuki I liked more than the Kawasaki Vulcan I was also eyeballing. I highly suggest adding a windshield. I stuck a quick release one on mine and the wind no longer kicks my ass at high speeds. Have fun with it and remember to keep the rubber side down.

@antidonkey I thought about adding a windshield but I love the aesthetics without one. Keep the rubber side down.
