Milton Babbitt along with John Cage are my favorite american composers. Two of the all time greatest worldwide too

Nice! I've seen a slimmed edit of this interview on a CD/DVD box set called OHM: The Early Guru's of Electronic Music. In that edit, Milton was only shown explaining the development and use of the RCA Synthesizer MK1 & MK2. Fascinating to hear the more complete version of his story.

@ 2hpilomel, you are welcome. there are a few hours including a little Phonemena, and incidentally Philomel. Maybe someday we can get a grant to bring this and all the other videos out in full as a resource. EC
