The trick is done by passing one side of the knot over the ring, your hands must conceal this part at 0:51. Once done keep part of the rope of on one side of the ring giving the effect that the knot is still atached to the ring at 0:59. Finally showing your aww, and amazment you pull the rope and hey presto the rope has escaped!
