@OMCHEESEY I had Orthognatic Jaw Surgery because I had an Underbite.

what happened?

Hey, Thanks alot
My jaws will be wired shut for 5 weeks total, right now Im at about 2.5 weeks. The only time I had stomach pain was when I had a milkshake but I think that was due to me having problems with dairy. So other than that nope no stomach pain.
With breathing, during the first week I had the most problems with breathing when I tried to be more active than I was suppose to be. Now I dont have any problems breathing. Thank goodness!!
I go back to school tomorrow:(
Thanks for asking

I was only able to drink liquids and I sometimes tried to eat softs foods like cream of wheat but it didn't work very well. Milkshakes were good as well.

Sorry I am responding so late but how did your friends surgery go? I hope everything went well. The surgery is well worth it. It's one of the best things I have decided to do in life. I wasn't able to eat food, I had to drink liquids. I didn't feel very hungry after awhile. Not eating food didn't really bother me. My stitches didn't hurt either. The whole surgery was pretty much painless. They give you tons of pain meds. Take care of her while she is recovering, she will be fine:)
