  • I have the level-d 767 but how do you get that nice Virtual Cockpit

  • The plane comes with a virtual cockpit. The only thing I did was install a slightly different texture. I found the texture in the Level-D Member Downloads forum on the Level-D web site.

  • Hello there, what is trackIR?

  • Its two pieces of hardware. You wear a reflector either on your head and plugged into your computer's USB port is an infrared device that detects where those reflectors are to simulate natural head movements. Just Google search "TrackIR Pro" and you'll get to their web site and can read all about it.

  • what is the 'level-D'???

  • Level-D is the name of the company that made this particular aircraft model for FS9/FSX.

  • Very nice vid! Just sub'd. Please do the same. THANKS!

  • Level-D add-on is great.

TrackIR is great for panning around the cockpit, but it can be difficult to adjust dials like heading, speed, and altitude.

That's why I use voice control add-on. Besides the fact that's how the heavies are flown (crew operation) I can delegate some tasks to the virtual co-pilot.

Try something called "Multi Crew Experience" voice control for FSX and FS9, which you can try for free for up to 7 days, and experience the next best thing in flight smulation realism.

  • dude that is so bad ass! I never knew there was such a thing, I play with a xbox 360 controler and its a pain in the ass in virtual cockpit because i have to use the D pad to look around

  • Level-D Simulations is the name of the company who made that particular Boeing 767 model for Flight Simulator X.
