Adding to that that the Arab league's initiative offered peace and the recognition of Israel for a state under the 67 border. This idea passed with 22 to 0 vote. What did israel do? They could get peace and a possibility of true and honest relationships with all of its neighbors but they shelved it.

1st of all: the only major colony that Britain should have kept until today was Palestine! 2: USA is actually asking for a 2nd 9/11, and I'd regret if it happens, but I wouldn't be surprised. 3: Either Obama is a complete failure as a president of USA or he's not really the president of USA, rather Netanyahu is the actual president of USA. 4: If Israel continues to act like this I don't expect that Israel will prevail in the long term, since a lot of other pro-Palestinian powers are arising.

@RussiangirlNY they speak of security threats yet they put their own people amidst people that they are provoking through the usurpation of lands and taxing and killing. It is clear that it is less a security issue than an issue of them wanting to annex the land. The argument is, "we have to protect the settlements we build on land that is not ours to take." Its the Israelis that are the prime aggressors.

My reply is that it does not matter what they will do with their land because at the end of the day, through UN resolution after UN resolution it is THEIR land. But it is perfectly fine today to make all sorts of excuses for why the Israeli leadership cannot give land to the Palestinians. It is preferable for a military superpower to overtake land through settlement than to give the land back to the natives and have them decide what to do with their land. You cannot fault the Palestinian for reclaiming his land especially since unlike the Native american issue, the Palestinian issue is far more current and ongoing.
