Joan Sutherland as Rosalinde
To convince the party-goers of her Eastern European origins, Rosalinde sings a Hungarian Czardas.
This excerpt harkens back to the story of the critic who derided Sutherland's Czardas, saying the diction was so bad she may as well been singing in Hungarian. "But sir," she replied, "I was singing in Hungarian!"
Aside from this piece, all of this performance was sung in an excellent English translation.

Oh thank you for posting this.
Lovely to hear Joan sing in Hungarian - critic: "Her well-known vowel mannerisms sounded delightfully, unintelligibly Hungarian"! lol
