Lyrics:
How can you go
When I want you
I need you
You know how I need you
Please don't say no, Again
If you love me
Just one time
If you stay with me now
You're gonna know that you're mine
(Sooner or Later)
You're gonna want me in your heart, baby
(Sooner or Later)
You're gonna get down on your knees and beg me to love you more
(Sooner or Later)
I'll...I'll...I'll be loving you
I'll be loving you
Open your heart
Please let me in
Let me in
Baby let our love begin
Just let it start, Naturally
Why not give it up
Can't you see
It's just a matter of time
Before you end up loving me
Oooh Heey
(Sooner or Later)
You're gonna get down on your knees and beg me to love you
(Sooner or Later)
Oh, ooh haa Baby
(Sooner or Later)
Oohh...I'll...I'll be loving you
I'll be loving you
(Sooner or Later)
You're gonna beg me, and love me baby
(Sooner or Later)

He really wails on this one too! In many ways Avco was the ideal label for Little Anthony & The Imperials, being sympathetic to the 70s Sweet Soul sound. Pity they couldn't break them big again. Why did Black America virtually desert all this talent just because they hadn't got a "hit record" at the time? I'll never understand it.

This song was from the 1973 LP "On a New Street" on the Avco label. It was written by Teddy Randazzo. He wrote many of their hits including a doo-wop classic "Tears of My Pillow", "I'm on the Outside Looking In", "Goin' Out of My Head" and others. he also produced and wrote six of them from that album and five of them produced by Thom Bell.
