I think exactly the same way. The manga of berserk is just sublime! It's not just a manga, it's one of the best stories ever written! The plot has thousands and thousands of thematics, all of them converging into the main theme: the destiny. It makes you think a lot. And the same goes for another manga: GUNNM (or Battle Anger: Alita), the story is very complex too, and makes you think a lot about what is life and what a human or a person is, or if human and person are the same thing

Awesome song by a great band and good anime clip...however this show brings shame to the manga of Berserk, one of the best graphic novels/story's in the history of existence, If you like this anime and wondered why it ended so abruptly i strongly recommend you read the manga.

In Flames is almost completely screaming but yet I love them. I guess it depends on how the screaming blends with the instrumental, if you can understand what he's saying and if it doesn't sound retarded.

yeah, same here. I can stand Finntroll, lol I can stand screamers if it isn't entirely just screaming. If they throw some vocals in there I can actually stand them... And the music has to be good too of course.

Yeah, some screamers like Cannibal corpse and Nile I just can't stand but some other screamers like cradle of flith, Dark Tranquility and In Flames(One of my all time favorite bands) I enjoy.

But overall I am a power and progressive metal overall and you seem to be also.

I love Symphony X! And you've got me pegged; Blind Guardian and Nightwish are two of my ultimate favorite bands. Personally, I can't stand the screamer stuff. I'll have to check out those other bands you pointed out; I've heard of them but never listened to them. ;)
