  • HEy... how to deseed the mirchi? I don't wanna put my hands in it. Is there any way other then using gloves?

  • @rxmusic1 : Have some one else do it for you..... ;)

Really, there is no other way around it :)

  • what is asafoetida

  • Asafoetida (aka hing) is a pungent spice that is used very sparingly. It has a unique flavor and is said to help with digestion.

  • Is there something I can substitute asafoetida with? Thanks

  • There is really no good substitute for asafoetida. It is readily available at Indian grocery stores but if you cannot find it, you can leave it out.

  • you guys are doing a great job and don't let the negative comments get to you. There is no excuse for people to make rude comments.

  • I experiment with stuffing, and battering chili's/peppers.I rough up the shiney, smooth surface of the chili's so the batter will stick better.I use meats,or white fish for the stuffing.Cherry peppers work great because of their shape. They make great appitizers.I also stuff cherry peppers with freshly chucked oysters, mixed with Italian Bread crumbs, minced red bell peppers, vid.onions, chopped garlic, broccoli rob, brashute ham,a small amount butter&EEVO.On the BB grill only!

Keep up the great work !

  • @rxmusic1 you can use a small spoon or a fork to deseed it.

  • hetal always does the messy bit with hands lol

  • @MonyMG1959 Asafoetida is similar in taste like Garlic. Usually this spice is used by Jains who consider garlic as not vegetarian. It has very Sulphurous taste. So if not Asafoetida u can use cruched Garlic in the flour and it tastes almost similar.

  • @sloththemighty

try using all purpose flour and mix in couple of spoons of rice flour to it(if you have), otherwise I think all purpose flour/maida would be good enough.

  • @rxmusic1 It has been said that you can apply some oil to your hands before handling chili, and it will protect your skin from the heat.
