Sax Mute ("The White Maggoty Thing") revisited++

The New Improved rough and ready demo of "The Sax Partner" saxophone mute/baffle. NOTE: The stand it is attached to is my own invention and not something it comes with. Yes, I know my chit-chat is a little on quiet side, but you're watching this to get an idea of if the baffle works and not listen to me droning on ... bad enough having all those bad notes put into your head, yes ? :)

I'm not associated with the makers/sellers of "Sax Partner" in the slightest and don't make a cent out of doing this. I just remember all the searching around I had to do before finding this excellent baffle and so am trying to make it easier for others to decide.

Perhaps this demo will help somebody out there desperate to take up the saxophone but too scared to do so out of fear of annoying loved ones, house-mates, and neighbours with all the racket that goes along with starting up.

this is the best video on the e-sax i found so far. When you started playing inside the case, i thought it wasn't really working but then playing without the mute the difference is stunning.

Still I recommend everyone to practice inside a car, works for me :-)

The loudest peak in this audio is hitting 0db. Which happens when u play the unbaffled sax, so the relative 'talking' levels cant be any louder using the one mic. If we'd miked your voice separately, or compressed the audio, you wouldnt have got a real representation of how loud the sax is compared to normal 'speech' levels.
