I can open my background image but I can't seem to open my second image and a layer. How do I do this?

I found that the mode was changed to screen instead of normal and the same was occuring. Try changing the setting back to normal and you should be okay.

You have to resize the 2nd pic to make it smaller and then the other ones will appear
hey i already have the two photos on top of each other but i dont see anything on my screen where i can add mass... as a result whenever i do the gradient thing the two picture won't blend. anything i didn't do?

Make sure your background and foreground colors are default, and then Alt + Click the Layer Mask icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.

Hi i need your help i been trying to work on this trick with 2 pictures but still having trouble this are the steps maybe you can tell me what im doing wrong?
Step 1 open my 2 images
step 2 choose an image an press Ctrl A then Ctrol C but when i choose my other image and press Ctrl B. it pop ups a window that say's Color balance???
can someone helpme please Step by Step, thank you

Press Ctrl + V to paste it into a new layer.

hey thanks for the great help. But is it possible to make a collage of more than 2 photos? everytime i try to use the gradient tool to reveal the 3rd photo, the previous effect would have been gone. pls help! :)

Before you add the third photo, flatten the previous layers (Crl + E), or flatten all visible layers to a new layer (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E. Add your 3rd photo as a new layer, and apply the gradient to complete the collage.
