I think Christianity has undergone far worse problems than bible versions. Its frustrating how many people have turned the KJV into their golden calf. Thank you for this video, Young.

Here we go well if you want to read a bible that verses have not been taken out completely read the king James bible. All the modern versions like the n i v the e s v n k j and so on have complete verses taken out in different places. Sorry but that bothers me because God dose not like that his word taken out of the bible. Go in the search engine and see why king James only just to see if I'm right at all.

@ymd012 The Quran is INCOMPLETE--stories in it begin then suddenly end then starting a different one. The clerics just insert what they want. Depending on the mood or temperment of cleric or Imams they could be harsh or gentile it does not matter. Simply stated--cannot be divine by nature of the mechanics and tampering by the Imams to suit he mood.

@lovejesusplz: You're serious about a relationship with Jesus Christ! Praise HIM! I just want to alert you the fact that the niv is the most dangerous, deceptive PERversion ever--hence it's popularity with the world. I'll ask you to check out Dr. Walter Vieth, (he started out with niv until he learned), Dr. Gail Riplinger and see AV1611.org. Check out their Bible comparison charts, he's done all the work for us--check Acts Chapter 8 in your niv against a King James and you'll see the truth.

Which Version.....??? One Faith/One Message/ One Love
Doesnt that give you proof enough as to why John 16:12 states that the "Spirit of Truth" would come and that "HE" ("He" mentioned 8 times) to clarify that a Prophet, A man would come to clarify all this confusion. Stop running in circles through the Pages of Man. The Quran is the Final Proof.

@RTMAPLE Another thing is the King James Version is over 400 years old where the NIV is not even 40 years old... what does this mean? The King James Version has been used by english speaking people for hundreds of years where the NIV has not even been used for decades, modern society has a way of looking at the world and facts in OPPOSITION against God, so these new translations can and are influenced by our culture and future-mindedness. Where the King James Version was translated by Holy Men.

@RTMAPLE You said the originals are free of error but not translations? If this is true than the New Testament is a lie! The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Koine Greek, the New Testament QUOTES the Old Testament but it is written in Greek instead of Hebrew! If God did the translating here why can't he do it now? Or does God only preserve the original for the Devil to destroy it over time?

The KJV cannot be a literal translation from Hebrew and Greek since some words must be translated by meaning or understanding. Only the Originals are free of error but the meanings are retained. By the inspiration of the Holy Spirit the meaning of the Word of God is retained.
As I said the KJ,3 is a word for word translation to English, I can not read hebrew or greek.

The KJ3 literal translation is a word for word translation from the Hebrew and Greek Textus Recptus Text. IE Masoretic Hebrew text to Greek.

Let me ask you the same question again - why don't you consider reading the original greek/hebrew text instead?
Is there a mental block of you stoping to do so?

If you want a true translation get the KJ3 Literal Translation New Testament ISBN-13: 978-1589604728 . It claims to be what the king james should be like.
