If you spank your children and discipline them in a reasonable fashion (not going slap happy) they'll learn to respect and obey you as a parent, and in turn will develop more respectful qualities and learn self-respect/discipline. If their boundaries aren't as established, and consequences something weak, they won't have a healthy fear of disobeying or disappointing their parents, and have less self-respect/discipline in general. So yes, we should spank our kids.

When you physically hit a child, no matter how light, you are teaching that child that violence is an acceptable last resort? Or maybe you are teaching them that they need to stop their bullshit. Violence is a necessary fact of life, you cannot supress nature. No matter how light...if you never physically hurt the child when you physicaly discipline, they will learn mercy and compassion, whereas when you hit to hurt, THEN they learn anger and violence. FAGGOTS!

In your world kids would be doing whatever they like regardless of whether it affects others or not and the police etc would be powerless to stop them and it would be illegal for parents to smack kids for wrongdoing and parents of these yobs would be supported NOT punished at all and the total result of your way of thinking would be CHAOS!!!
