I really love this song. I always like the original french version, too. But there is just something... in this one. That desperate, hopeless sounding voice. It is extraordinary.

And reading those lyrics again after all this time - and this part is purely for those not ofended by twilight series - have you noticed how fitting it is for that? Though it would be wasted on the movie...

i first listened to this song in a movie called Pumpkin i loved the lyrics after I listened to shirley bassey's version i totally fell in love with it. I'm a shirley bassey kinda guy lol. Don't get me wrong i like this version as well but i prefer the classic sound in shirley's version.
