Die Prinzen - Deutschland (Germany)

Die Prinzen are a German Pop Rock A-capella band from Leipzig

The Song was released on the 40th anniversary of the building of the Berlin Wall in 2001
The song is a Sarcastic/satirical song about Germany.
Die Prinzen use their favorite word ("Schwein") at the very end to replace "sein" ("to be").
Indirect the song means Germany is nice but not all is good

Info: Kanake is a derogatory word used in Germany for immigrants and foreigners. Originally used to refer to Italian, Greek, and Spanish immigrants, it now is more commonly used against immigrants of Turkish descent. Much like the terms nigger or queer in English

Chart Position in Germany: #15

Released: 2001

  • @ita1iani55im0 For French I would suggest Zazie. My fav song by her is "Je Suis Un Homme". For German I would suggest Oomph! If you are interested in music without words Hans Zimmerman is a wonderful German Composer. For Spanish Shakira is my fav. I think it's very cool you like languages so much! I love studying languages myself! I know some French and Japanese but I really want to learn German now. Then there's a Ukrainian singer Verka Serduchka who's just got crazy fun music. Hope this help
