You need a bio-enzymatic product, no matter if it is ours or another to remove all the deeply embedded urine. If you just suck out the urine without using a bio-enzymatic product, then the smell and some of the particles will still in the wood and padding. The enzymes and bacteria eat the little particles, neutralizing the odors. If the carpet were to get wet again, then the deep down urine would just wick back up and you would have to start over. This shows a proven method for urine removal.
