Forza Motorsport 3 is an upcoming racing simulator video game currently in development by Turn 10 Studios. The game is due for release in October 2009 on Xbox 360. It is the sequel to Forza Motorsport 2 and the third installment in the Forza Motorsport series.
Forza Motorsport 3 will include over 400 fully customizable cars from 50 manufacturers and over 100 tracks. New additions to the game include an in-car driving view, a perfect line to follow, one button assisted driving, vehicle rollover, and for the first time in the series, trucks and SUVs. Also included will be the ability to create in-game videos and upload them to the Forza Motorsport website. Forza Motorsport 3 will be shipped in two discs, but can be played completely off the first. The second disc serves as the "installation disc", which will contain some additional cars and tracks.
A new single-player season mode will put the player through a completely personalized racing calendar that includes more than 200 different events, including Circuit, Oval, Drag, Drift, and Timed Events. No two calendars will be the same. Also, Turn 10 Studios have confirmed that Circuit de la Sarthe (which is used for the Le Mans 24 Hour Race) shall be included.
In addition, the online multiplayer mode gains an all-new game rules editor. New Xbox LIVE scoreboards will display not only the greatest racers but also the most prolific car tuners and painters in the community.
At the E3 2009 Microsoft Press Conference, Turn 10 mentioned a rewind feature (much like the "flashback" feature on Race Driver: GRID), but did not say exactly what it did. It was later revealed on G4's day 1 E3 2009 coverage that the rewind feature will allow players to turn back time to fix previous mistakes made on the track. The rewind feature has no limit on how many times it can be done or time between rewinds. It is one of the many assists that are optional.
During another interview at E3 2009, game director Dan Greenawalt revealed that the updated physics engine will include tire deformation, and the ability to flip your car over. He also included that there will be a "Pressure" system in which the AI, depending on how the difficulty is set, will actually make mistakes when under pressure. Besides improvements to the A.I. and physics, The new graphics engine features ten times more polygons in each car model, bump mapping, and texture resolutions four times higher than before. Also, it is confirmed that the game will run at 60 frames per second. The interview also revealed that there will be several scoreboards ranging from driver scoreboards to painting and tuner leaderboards. There will be a video editor feature available. Dan Greenawalt stated that Project Blackjack, the team that made an E3 trailer, used capture cards to make their videos. The video editor would grant players more possibilities. Players would also be able to create their own race rules.

The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engine grand tourer developed by the German car-manufacturer Volkswagen and produced by the Volkswagen-brand Bugatti Automobiles SAS at their headquarters in Château St Jean in Molsheim (Alsace, France), and whose production and development is often credited to Ferdinand Karl Piech. It is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti company.
Two hundred examples of the Veyron are known to have been built and delivered since production began. There won't be built any more. All the Veyron editions contribute to the 200 being built (stopped built in late 2008). The editions that are contributing are the Veyron, Veyron 16.4, Pur Sang, Hermes Edition, Sang Noir, Targa, Vincero, and the Bleu Centenaire. It will be replaced with the Grand Sport, which is essentially a Veyron convertible.

  • The battle of GT 5 and Forza is ridiculous... Both games are PERFECT! There's no winner for me. I'll stay with both, but the customization in Forza make it a different game, THAT'S the real big difference. Sorry for my bad English!

  • I'm a fan of both the games GT5 and Forza 3, but it's the console that made up my mind... PS3 isn't worth even buying! Xbox rules and GT5 may have more cars, but you can't customize them as much I think...

  • It's a shame that they did all this and they couldn't get the spoiler to come up and work in the game...

  • @StaticTremor becuz in ur case the physics are bad the game is crap? no that is compeletely invalid and its about the gameplay

  • I love the Bugaties. And Exotic Car , Awesome

  • Both games seem stiff to me. I'm a Forza and Xbox fan, but neither game really impresses me. Your characters in the games barely even turn the steering wheel when ever you turn, just stiff steering. I personally think that Shift 2 blows both of them away.

  • in 0:43 Bugatti is in the air

  • @StaticTremor your ignorance makes me laugh. Forza runs at 360Hz as does GT5's physics. In fact most racing sims on consoles run at 360 and even 480 like Race pro. Hahaha your so dumb. If a game has a 1000 cars some of then looking simply put real is easily going to attract more attention rather than a game having less than half the amiunt of cars in less detail, and looking worse for the same 60 dollars.

  • @Mrjack45241 ignorance in a nutshell. Didnt you know GT's physics are run at 360fps as do most consoles based sims and Race Pro even runs at 480fps physics. Typical example how the hype marketing has brainwashed you.

  • @Caterpie777 PS3 is a better system overall... and GT5 is better than Forza overall, Sony FTW!!!

  • @StaticTremor actually forza's physics operate at 360fps which is incredible!!

  • GT5 has crappy, video-games physics that update at 30Hz.

Forza has vastly superior physics that update at 300Hz.

If you buy a racing game because it has 6000000 cars, you are a twat.
