Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Battle of Olympus. This is one of my favorite games of all time. It is basically a Zelda 2 clone which makes it great right there but it also has a Greek mythology setting which is pretty unique for a NES game. Enjoy!

  • When you get out of the inventory screen does the music start over or just start from where it was paused?

  • Last I checked, the staff's fire ability was the only way to get through those pesky spider webs in the forest.

  • I can't beat this game without the Divine Sword. I gotta have that. The only item that is useless is the salamander shield.

  • Reminds me of a greek paper I had to do on Athena Parthenos.

  • battle of olympus is the best nes game ever!!

I wich they would make a "clone" of Zelda ocarina of time, cause that is the best N64 game

  • Did anyone else notice that Athena was a guy.... had a full beard and mustache... lmao

  • One thing that was disappointing about this game was that when you get Athena's shield and then the salamander shield, you still show that turquoise shield you have since the beginning. (Btw, why does he start with a shield if it doesn't block arrows? Athena's shield looks just like the one you have before you get it).

  • thankyou for talking nice and clear, its a pleasure listening...I used to play many of the games you have played..like this one...keep em comnig..gotta love NES :)

  • Man, I loved this game. Thanks for the memories. Couple things I noticed: yes you have to have the Staff and it must shoot fire. Also kneeling at that fountain in front of Athena's Temple will not only replenish your health meter, but also your nectar jar.
