[Pashtet]

I've made "cheater" Irish lace pieces before where I make a background mesh the size and shape of the finished piece then attach the flower and leaf motifs to it. I really want to try this method you show here. And advice on spacing the mesh and figuring out where to start and which direction to work in would be helpful. This is beautiful work. Thanks for sharing it.

have you tried just buying a machine made background lace and sticking the motifs on it? Im thinking of doing that. this is pretty but: 1)nobody will buy it, 2) you go blind
