Before Canna, SuCa and Starla there were Nina and Erika, they were "Forbidden Love's" first lesbian couple in 1998. Erika Sander was the live-in partner of Arno Brandner before she fell in love with Nina Ryan (daughter of Elisabeth Ryan who becomes Elisabeth Brandner later on and is currently known as Elisabeth von Lahnstein). The relationship between Nina & Erika was scarred by Erika's inner disunity; she was in love with Nina but she still had feelings for Arno - and she was very jealous of Nina's mother Elisabeth who fell in love with Arno.
Special thanks and much love to the actors Freya Trampert (Nina) and Raphaela Dell (Erika) for creating such great characters, for their courage and commitment.
