Hmm, it sure is an interesting hability,

but in my opinion it makes the player a bit overpowered.

in three dimensional sonic games its necessary to use the homing attack because to the enemys without it is really difficult, the homing attack imrpoves the precision, how to move through stages.

but in 2d you only can move forwards and backwards, so i think the homing attack is not a necessary feature.

Well, homming attack is a interesting hability in mine opinion, I think its ok in a side-scrolling fangame.
