Elizabeth is by far the best choice for the CFPA. Even though it's being reported that she didn't get the nomination because the Senate doesn't want her, you have to wonder why Obama didn't play hard ball and nominate her - Make these wall street Senators come out into the light and vote against her (He could always renominate her)..... I think Obama is using her appointment to try and get the progressives out to vote. By July 2011 when its due, he'll nominate a wall street crony.

She might cause tighter credit and higher overal rates for those with good credit and cause people who need and deserve loans - not to get them.
