You fail to understand that bike theft is a profession. In locales where one is unable to procure adequate steeds from charity or the garbage dumps, Bicycle lifting pays the bills & the rouge joint not to mention solving transportation issues. Alternately; the Bike Fence is also a position I hold in high esteem as these people facilitate an opportunity in impoverished urban environments.

The beauty is that this act is often overlooked by Police & often a misdemeanor such as in Vegas under $250.
