  • I love Greenpeace!

  • I love you guys & gals!

EVERYONE SHOULD WRITE TO THEIR MP OR REPRESENTATIVE & TELL THEM TO SAY "NO TO ANY NEW COAL"!!

There are renewable CLEAN (non-nuclear) alternatives and they ARE available right NOW!

For the domestic market there are solar water heaters, ground heat, solar PV, micro-wind, heat exchanger technology & several other 'new' inventions that could make our energy CHEAP and CLEAN at the same time!

(ps. say NO to all these new rubbish incinerators too!)

  • Depopulation of the entire human race (except for me) is the only answer. We must erase the human parasite plague which endlessly leeches upon our limited resources. We Greenpeace Elite shall eradicate Global Warming, snuffing out the human life whoes very breath suffocates our Goddess Earth. With your help, we'll create a better pandemic, a more lethal virus, a deadlier plague, in hopes that one day the disease called Humans, are utterly extinct. Because the world is a better place without YOU!

  • I would have agreed with you a few decades ago... but now i don't!

The "people first" argument could just as easily be used to justify CLOSING all coal stations NOW!! The effects of runaway climate change will affect a damn site more people that the few employed in the coal industries... yes I know thats millions... but climate change will affect BILLIONS!

Furthermore the answers are here NOW! We have all the tools & new technologies to go carbon FREE!

(we have had for a few decades in fact!)

  • get the people that work in the coal business new jobs first, then we can switch to alternatives! people first!

  • You are Ok !!! :)

  • I wasn't accusing the Dutch police of being anything. I would imagine the Dutch police are a LOT better than most!

I didn't even make the original comment about fascists.

However, I was just wondering what your definition of 'FASCISM' is?? Not your definition of 'police state'.

As I understand it, its when the dividing line between corporate & government gets so blurred you can't tell the difference.

Seems to me globalist Corporatism is cutting a fine line between global Utopia & global Fascism!

  • I would say it's a state where activists would still be in jail now, unable to see lawyers, unable to contact their family.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree that E.ON should be the one facing court charges here, I'm just pointing out that you shouldn't forget the grey area between Utopia and a police state. Some countries are A LOT worse than the NL, and by accusing the Dutch police of basically being no better than police in an authoritarian state, you do a disservice to activists there.

    and yet...

Fascism is when 'Corporate Power' & Government Power are indistinguishable.

A fascist police state would be when the Police are used to protect 'corporations' interests instead of 'the people'..

    Hmmm... so what's YOUR definition?

  • Hey commenters, relax, the Netherlands isn't a fascist police state either...

  • Fucking cops!! The day of reckoning is coming and sadly,it will probably come too late for mother earth!
